Weaving is a fascinating craft with so many possibilities. I started by weaving tapestries on a frame and then moved 

on to weaving rugs on a four shaft loom before becoming involved with fabric weaving. 


Events 2018

19-20 and 23 -28 May: Oxfordshire Artweeks at Ardington School of Crafts

My work will be on display together with other tutors and I will be demonstrating on some of the days


25 September - 14 October.  Exhibition of Jane and Stephen Pawlyn's Paintings and my weaving at the Vale and Downland Museum


2 - 4 November:  Abingdon Craft Fair


A selection of my pictures is available at  North Farm Gallery in the Isles of Scilly  during the season

Weaving Taster Day - Friday 6 Apr 2018


Weave samples on Rigid Heddle and 4 shaft looms

 Weft faced sample. The white warp is completely covered by the weft

Twill patterns with the white warp contributing to the design.

(The weft is going over two warp threads and under two)


Weave a Scene Wed 13 June 2018

Use a rigid heddle loom for quick results whilst learning some of the 

techniques which can be used on a tapestry frame



Loom Weaving Workshop, Sat 27 and Sun 28 Oct 2018

Weave samples on 4 shaft and rigid heddle looms and learn how to put a warp on a loom.  

There are plenty more patterns that can be woven on both looms if you have already 

done the Taster Day.
